I have survived many a workday by the grace of God and a strong cup of Americano at Yoco. Lisa and Carmen makes the best coffee by far. Another favourite – their mushroom and cheese soup – great price for a decent, hearty soup. Well worth it!!

This gem of an eatery is situated in the Rust and Vrede Art Gallery, giving it a fantastic ambiance. The owner, Stas, takes great pride in his food and his restaurant. It is always a pleasure to eat here – all meals are made from scratch from the finest ingredients. The staff are very friendly and efficient, and a plus is that the restaurant is licensed . Our favourites are Shakshuka (Moroccan curried eggs) and Borscht ( a tasty traditional Russian soup). Another “must have” is the delicious meatball sandwich. What an amazing little spot. Hidden away in the middle of Durbanville it’s a definite must for good food and great service. The owner is very attentive and takes joy in explaining the meals on the menu. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly and very attentive. The food is tasty and fresh and I look forward to trying out many more dishes on their menu.

I recently went to the Yoco Eatery for the first time . I can highly recommend the meatball sandwich! Yes, it is a lovely building with quality food and friendly staff. What impressed me most was their captain, the owner Stas . It shows when someone has passion. It filters through from the top. How much he cares for his staff, the quality of the ingredients on your plate right through to the lady serving you your coffee with a smile. A great cohesion of good people. If you go, try and get a few words in with the owner Stas…a very cool guy!
